About Us
PIDRO is a women-led, non-partisan, non-profit organization established in Sudan to promote local solutions for social and economic development, with a strong focus on Peace, Development, and Community coexistence. Since its formal registration in 2025, PIDRO has operated in five states, delivering humanitarian and development support—especially to vulnerable groups, Host Communities, returnees, and refugees. Its team of 86 young professionals provides services in essential areas such as Health and nutrition, WASH, NFIs, FSL, GBV, Protection, Peace Building and Governance, under the leadership of an Executive Director and a female-led board. PIDRO collaborates with government ministries and participates in six humanitarian clusters, partnering with national and international bodies to improve service delivery and resource efficiency.
